Reactivity

D-31 is a mixture of alkyl tributyl ketoxime silane. Tributyloxime group is hydrolyzable, so it is readily undergoes hydrolysis upon contact with moisture.

In the presence of a (tin) catalyst, D-31 can react with hydroxyfunctional silicone polymers in the formation of cross-linked organosilicone rubber.

Application

Be used as a cross-linking agent for oxime RTV-1 sealant.

D-31 can be used as a cross-linker for RTV-1 neutral curing silicone sealant. It is usually the key choice of oxime RTV-1 sealant cross-linker. It can be used alone or in combination with other oximisilanes to provide desired properties such as curing rate and adhesion, etc.
